How To Read Literature Like A Professor Chapter 6
A writing that I know of and discover that it is similar to Shakespeare is the modernistic motion picture, based off of the real Romeo and Juliet, Gnomeo and Juliet. This is a recent movie that is very similar to the real Romeo and Juliet. The writers based it off of the true stories. The two main characters are gnomes and their families take always hated each other. They fall in love with each other and have to secretly run across. This is all very similar to Romeo and Juliet except some minor details. The merely affair that is a major divergence is the ending. The families don't learn to get forth after the death of their children, they just learn to go along for their children. In this story, the viewer can apparently tell that the two main characters shouldn't exist together, merely they love each other and gather anyway. This animated moving picture has an extremely similar theme as the old time story Romeo and Juliet, in my stance.

A writing that I find similar to the writing of Shakespeare is the well-known story of Cinderella. In both stories, the theme to me is "yous can't help who y'all fall in love with." This is why I think this...
In the story Cinderella, the stride-mother did not want Cinderella to even go to the ball which is like to the reaction of a person at the feast due to Romeo being a Montague. This is due to Cinderella beingness totally opposite to the bodily Prince. According to Romeo and Juliet, they both came from different parts of ii different families who did not get along at all. Still, Cinderella did make information technology to the ball, which is like that Romeo and Juliet met at a party similar, and that is where they met. After they met, they all roughshod securely in love. Despite the catastrophe, everything that happens is quite similar if you think of information technology. The endings, however, are completely different due to Cinderella and the Prince living happily ever afterwards, and Romeo and Juliet catastrophe in death. Overall, Cinderella does remind me a lot to Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare.

A motion-picture show that is similar to Shakespeare's stories is "W Side Story." In the motion picture information technology'due south most the same every bit Romeo and Juliet. Information technology has the two families that feuding against each other, and their son and daughter loves each other. They both meet each other at a dance. In the stop of the movie a tragic scene happens. The theme connects with Shakespeare'south Romeo and Juliet. Similar in Romeo and Juliet, Maria and Tony started secretly meeting each other for their families don't discover out and and then they also planned to run away. Both of the story and movie has a tragic end. Shakespeare wrote his story as a play, West Side Story is a flick only it notwithstanding tin can be seen in a play too. Overall, Romeo and Juliet story was based on Due west Side Story.

A writing that I find similar to Shakespeare's work is the Twilight saga. Edward and Bella resemble Romeo and Juliet, so does their dear. Jacob and Paris play a like office too. They both still have feelings for the girls, even though they are in love with another guy. Paris, a character from Romeo and Juliet, still loved Juliet, knowing that she was in love with Romeo. Jacob felt the same way with Bella in Twilight. Romeo and Paris (just like Edward and Jacob) showed conflict betwixt each other for the love of Juliet (same for Bella). Both daughter characters become heartbroken when their lovers leave. Edward left because he felt like he was no good for Bella, and in one point of Shakespeare's work, Romeo was banned from the kingdom and has to exit Juliet. Also in Romeo and Juliet, the parents forbid Romeo and Juliet'south love. This is like to how Charlie, Bella's dad, felt about Edward and Bella's relationship and displayed a grumpy mental attitude towards Edward. The themes of both writings have some of the same aspects when it comes to how their relationships are affected past outside forces.

The story that I think of that is similar in theme to Romeo and Juliet is Shrek. Both stories are well-nigh 2 people (or Ogres) whose honey is forbidden. In the movie, Shrek, Princess Fiona learns to love Shrek for who he is on the inside. Love is forbidden for Shrek and Fiona merely like it is forbidden for Romeo and Juliet. The whole theme of the stories is that love can be in very different forms between 2 very different people. Age, weight, height and other stuff like that does not matter. Dearest is something special that is shared with that ane person.

This selection makes me think of the Cinderella story. This girl falls in dear with someone she never met. They see each other at school. They don't know that they know each other. Considering, they dont see each others name when they text. She couldn't help but talk to him. The option an this story deals with love. They tin can't assist who they fall in love with. This is very normal for anyone til this day. No one wanted it to be her to autumn in dearest with the popular kid at school.

A story that I think is similar to Romeo and Juliet is The Petty Mermaid. In both stories, the principal characters are star-crossed lovers. They come from different groups or families. Simply like Juliet is a Capulet who hates the Montagues, Arial is a mermaid, who hates the humans. When she starting time sees Eric, she falls in honey with him. Much similar how Romeo falls in love with Juliet when he first sees her. The honey is forbidden but they get in work out, even if it has to be secret. Arial sacrifices her voice, the only way for her to connect with Eric, to exist with him. The theme in both comes equally love tin piece of work out between very dissimilar people if information technology's fated. Nothing can stop beloved. It doesn't matter who or what you are...everyone deserves love.

I find that Romeo and Juliet is a similar story to that of Cinderella. But like in Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet are star crossed lovers. They came from completely different types of lives in both stories. Romeo goes looking for Juliet only like the prince goes looking for Cinderella after she loses the shoe. When Romeo and Juliet first met each other they fell in alive, much similar at the ball in Cinderella when the prince and Cinderella danced together they fell in dearest. The theme is meant to exist that if the love is truthful =, the dear will find its style into both.

Throughout the work of Shakespeare, he e'er finds a manner to include honey. Romeo and Juliet relates to The Hunger Games in several ways. The major mode is past beloved. In Romeo and Juliet, both families are fighting against each other with hate, but that does not stop Romeo and Juliet from being with each other. With every obstacle, comes a peachy adventure. They both loved each other too much to simply give up which is why they did what they did in the end. In The Hunger Games, Katniss and Peeta are fighting for their lives when they eventually realize beloved is in the air as well. The theme between the ii would exist that: If it is true love, nothing is always going to get in the fashion. If it is meant to be, then nothing can go in the middle of who or what the situation involves. Therefore, both Romeo and Juliet as well as The Hunger Games relates in many ways especially with the term dear used in the theme stated higher up.

The story of Romeo and Juliet remind me of the movie, "The Notebook." Simply like in Romeo and Juliet, the families don't run across heart to eye on lots of things. Allie and Noah were completely opposite because Noah wasn't that wealthy, merely Allie was on the higher form side. In Romeo and Juliet the familes are enemies. Even though the reason is different in the movies, the two couples still didn't accept the blessing of the parents to encounter each other. Also in the Notebook, Allie and Noah fall securely in love just like Romeo and Juliet exercise. One last affair that reminds me of the Notebook when reading Romeo and Juliet is in the stories the two couples die together. Romeo and Juliet commit suicide together, and Noah and Allie are together one concluding nighttime and die in their sleep together. Both these honey stories are akin in many means, and to me Nichollos Sparks and William Shakespeare both right most of their books nearly love.

A movie I know that is similar to Romeo and Juliet is, "The Titanic." In this film, Rose and Jack are the star crossed lovers in a way much like Romeo and Juliet. Both sets of lovers cannot be together for the same reason: family unit. In "The Titanic", Rose'southward family wants her to be with someone rich because they're rich too. The problem is Jack is very poor, and her family unit doesn't corroborate. This causes them to accept to sneak around in club to be together. Juliet and Rose both have to rebel against their families. This is something different than what their normal character does. This means, they were both shy and non very out-spoken. This changes when they meet their lovers. In both stories, there is a tragic ending and the couples are forced to be separated. From the showtime, they are both doomed to not being together. In the ending of Romeo and Juliet, they both impale themselves. In the ending of The Titanic, the ship sinks and Jack forces Rose to stay alive while he dies. In my opinion, both stories involve teenagers doing major actions considering of love. Those actions are sad, exciting, and romantic.

Something similar to Romeo and Juliet I think is the Hunger Games. How Peeta and Katniss are supposed to kill each other. In the games they are i guess you could say supposed to have a hatred due to the fact they are "enemies". Same thing with Romeo and Juliet. They both are supposed to exist enemies and hate each other. But information technology turns out they stop up loving each other. But Hunger Games ends in a happy catastrophe with the two falling in love and escaping expiry. Where in Romeo and Juliet they both fall in honey and it looks to be a happy catastrophe merely both tragically die.

I call up that the story of The Little Mermaid is very similar to Shakespeare'south Romeo and Juliet. Ariel falls in honey with Prince Eric as soon as she sees him. There is ane problem with this; she is a mermaid and he is a human. Their families do not get along, then their honey is seen as impossible. Just like Romeo and Juliet's families don't get along, simply they detect a fashion to exist together simply like Ariel and Eric. In both stories, the star-crossed lovers sacrifice something to exist able to be together. They may have to keep their love a clandestine only they'll exercise anything because of how strong their love is. Both of these stories exhibit the theme that love volition always find a way.

I call back the moving picture Avatar is sort of similar to Romeo and Juliet. I call up information technology is because in Avatar the character is a man and he switches back and forth from human being to avatar to explore the woods. The humans are enemies with the people or the blue people that live in the wood, but like Romeo and Juliet'south families. Jake Sully who plays the main graphic symbol in Avatar falls in love with one of the woods people. When the humans find out they assail him and the people of the forest. Sully and the avatars are now hated, kind of like Romeo and Juliet. He then run a risk his life to be with them.

At that place are many movies that are similar to Shakespeare'south Romeo and Juliet. To me, the movie "The Notebook" is most similar to it. Noah and Allie are two teenagers who fall in love one summer. Allie comes from a very wealthy family, and then of course her parents want her to marry some other wealthy person. Noah is a very loving and caring guy but he does not take very much money. This causes conflict between Allie and her parents because since they desire her to be with someone who has money they do not want her to run across Noah. This is similar to Romeo & Juliet considering their families do not get along so they practice not want them being together. Also, like Romeo does, Noah does not surrender on Allie despite what her parents say. He loves her and would do annihilation to be with her, fifty-fifty if he has to sneak around a piffling chip.

The novel The Hunger Games relates to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The Hunger Games features Peeta and Katniss. In the games, they are supposed to kill each other, but they come together in the end and stick together. Because they are both in the games, it is expected they would eventually get confronting each other. In Romeo and Juliet, they are in a related situation. Both their families hate each other, so they are expected to hate each other as well. They end up falling in dear, just as Peeta and Katniss did. In the ending of Romeo and Juliet, Juliet sees Romeo dead and then she kills herself. She doesn't want to live without him. In The Hunger Games, the idea is to take one person left, then Peeta and Katniss decide to both die instead of having one kill the other. Earlier they go through with their programme, they are stopped and both crowned victors. In both stories, they would rather dice than exist without that person.

A writing that I find is similar to Shakespear's Romeo and Juliet is The Hunger Games. I think this is similar because like Romeo and Juliet, Peeta and Katniss are star-crossed lovers. In the book Peeta and Katniss are chosen to be the tributes for distric 12 and are sent to the majuscule to play in the Hunger Games where they volition have to exist clever and impale to servive. You would think considering they are enemies they would hide things from each other and split from each other when they are training but that is exactly the opposite. Peeta and Katniss accualy help each other out both in and out of the games, they trained together and shared their ideas on other tributes. In the games when the gamemakers announce that the two tridutes from one commune tin win together Katniss's motive changes from trying to servive by herself to trying to go both her and Peeta home. Even though they were suppose to be each others enemy they accualy really did love each other and in the cease they would rather die and so take to kill each other.

A writing that I find is like to Shakespeare would be the picture show The Piddling Mermaid. In this movie, Arial, a mermaid princess, has ever wanted to see what the world on the land was like. When she swims to the surface ane night she sees Prince Eric prancing around on his transport. Arial instantly falls in love with Prince Eric, but keep in mind that she is a mermaid and her male parent forbids her to ever get near the surface of the water. When the ship bursts into flames, Arial is beside Prince Eric singing to him. He awakes, but simply catches a glimpse of the princess and just has the retentivity of her voice. This resembles Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet are considered to be star-crossed lovers. Arial and Eric are the same. The two come from two completely different worlds and are supposed to be destined to never run across. Merely when Arial'southward father sees how in love the ii are, he tin't stand up to see his daughter lamentable. He changes his outlook on humans and allows his girl to marry. This story has a unlike catastrophe from Romeo and Juliet. This ending is happy, while Romeo and Juliet have a tragic ending. But in the end, the ii stories share the same theme.

I think that Cinderella is similar to Romeo and Juliet. Cinderella'southward stepmother tried to go on her from going to the brawl, but she goes anyway. The prince falls in dearest with Cinderella. When the clock struck midnight Cinderella had to leave. On her way out she lost one of her glass slippers. The next twenty-four hours the prince went looking for whoever endemic the glass slipper. When it was Cinderella'south turn to attempt on the drinking glass slipper her stepmother trips him. The glass slipper breaks, but and so Cinderella pulls out the matching glass slipper and it fits perfectly. Fifty-fifty though the stepmother tried to keep Cinderella abroad from the prince, Cinderella and the prince lived happily always later.

The story that is similar with Romeo and Juliet is Cinderella.I call up this because in both stories they both end up falling end love with someone that they shouldn't. Anybody finds this out they all get angry. Cinderella was told to non go to the ball, simply she ended upwardly going and met her love. Which in Romeo and Juliet they met at a party also, which is were their feelings developed for each other. A lot that goes on during both of these stories are the same, but in that location are besides some differences. One thing that was different was the catastrophe of both stories. In Romeo and Juliet the two lovers dice, but in Cinderella the lovers stay alive and love each other forever. The story of Cinderella reminds me a lot of Romeo and Juliet.

I think that the move similar to Romeo and Juliet is the Twilight Series. Edward and Bella are in honey but it is hard for them to be together for a reason. Edward is a vampire and this somewhat makes them non exist together right abroad. They fell in love right from the commencement just similar Romeo and Juliet. They are star-crossed lovers because they are in love just in that location is one thing keeping them apart at first. They have a strong love but they never know if they can exist together at starting time because Edward is always putting Bella in danger. A work that I am familiar with that reflects Shakespeare is the picture show Gnomeo and Juliet. The Cherry gnomes and the Blue gnomes hate each other much similar the Capulet'due south and the Montague's detest each other. Gnomeo and Juliet see accidentally and neither of them knew that they were of the other family (or color in this case). They see and fall in love. In one case they find out that the other is of the enemy family, they get worried but do not deny that they honey each other. Similar the balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet, Gnomeo climbs a debate where Juliet rests on her podium. Juliet races over and they talk near meting secretly. The movie went as close every bit to use the nurse's character by portraying her as Juliet's best friend whom, past the style, is a quite comical frog. The only thing different almost the play Romeo and Juliet and the moving-picture show Gnomeo and Juliet is that neither die at the finish. Gnomeo and Juliet live "happily ever later on". When the Red and Bluish families realize that the two are happy together, they put aside their differences and get forth.

Just, in the terminate of The Hunger Games, they ended up stickoing with eachother and had not killed one another and became one in the cease. So, did Romeo and Juliet.
